National WI

WIs across the country are arranged in Federations.

Malham WI is in the North Yorkshire West Federation (NYWFWI). The registered office for the Federation is Alma House, Low St Agnesgate, Ripon, HG4 1NG  Find out more about the activities of the Federation, how to be more involved at Federation level, subscription information and so much more.  Perhaps you want to start a YouTube Channel?  Still unsure about Zoom?  Find out about classes and training offered?  Answers here!

Craven Group of WIs

Malham WI is a member of a group of WIs. 

The Craven Group organises four events each year. Each WI takes turns in organising one of the events. 

These are a Carol Service, a Spring event, a walk and an Autumn event. These events offer a great opportunity to meet other WI members in the local area.  The events always involve food – what’s not to like?

Great Yorkshire Show 2022, Harrogate, 12th-15th July

Volunteers are needed to help with catering and the Exhibition Area.  This is so worthwhile – hard work but great fun!  Please contact a Committee member if you are interested. All volunteers receive a free ticket to the show, so you can enjoy the whole GYS experience once your shift is over.

The NFWI Annual Meeting 2022, Saturday June 11th, M & S Bank Arena, Liverpool

Malham WI will send one delegate. Non-delegates/observers may attend as visitors (tickets £22) There is also a virtual option. Federation representatives and delegates who join virtually will be expected to attend the whole meeting, of course!  This is an important meeting so please let the committee know if you are interested in attending as a non-delegate/observer.
